$2 Million Bail: Pair Accused Of Drug Charges
Appearing in Magistrates Court, Joan D’Estelle-Roe, 27, and Nicky Tucker, 29, faced multiple counts involving the importation of drugs and ammunition, and both were granted bail of $2 million.
The charges were indictable, meaning that they can only be tried in Supreme Court, so the defendants did not have to enter a plea.
The charges against both D’Estelle-Roe and Tucker were that between a date unknown and 18th July 2011, they conspired with Victor Roberts and others to import diamorphine, cocaine, cannabis, cannabis resin, one hundred rounds of 9mm ammunition and one hundred rounds of 40mm ammunition.
D’Estelle-Roe only was charged with possessing cannabis in Sandy’s Parish on 28th January 2014, while Tucker was also charged with possessing cash, Rolex watch, gold and diamond ring, bracelet, chain, and gold bars to a total value of over $100,000 knowing them to be the proceeds of criminal conduct.
Magistrate Archie Warner required the pair to return to Court on 29th July.

So the moral of the story is crimes does pay… as long as you don’t get caught.
its pays for some, but the negatives far out-weigh the positives, the most obvious being the self induced misery of addicts…the breakdown of the family, good neighborhoods rival gang murders and remember the invisible victims….abused children, despondent spouses/partners, theft, robbery and assault victims.
So crime really doesn’t pay the majority
I say if guilty, give them both 10 years for each bullet. Send a message.
Ya like that will ever happen. Gotta be fair now. Cant throw the book at them while giving others a slap on the wrist. Smh. If guilty, they will prob receive a grossly inadequate sentence just like everyone else
