Bermuda D.A.S.H. Team To Compete In USA
Bermuda’s D.A.S.H. team will be participating in this year’s Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational track and field meet, set to be held from July 18 through July 20, 2014 in Durham, North Carolina.
The Bermudian team will include Jai-La Wade [100m], Destini Edwards-Hill [100m], Keesha Miller [100m, 200m, Long Jump], Annan Zuill [100m, 200m], Sadiq Nurse [100m, Long Jump], Deneo Brangman [400m], Brent Burke [100m], Stephan Dill [100m, 200m], Antonio Bailey [200m, 400m 4x100, 4x400], Kionje Somner [200m, 400m 4x100, 4x400], Tzadik Donville [200m, 400m 4x100, 4x400], Kidane Callender [100m, 200m, 4x100, 4x400], and Quinn Simmons [Discus, relay alternate].
Two of those athletes, Kionje Somner and Antonio Bailey, have just completed participating at CAC in Mexico, and Kionje Somner will be traveling to China for the Youth Olympics in August.
The competition continues tomorrow [July 19] with the long jump, 100m, 400m, and 4×400 relay events. Sunday [July 20] will see all finals of the 100m, 200m, and 400m events.
