Donnie Charles Wins Cricket Sportsman Award
The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the winner of the weekly Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award for week six as Donnie Charles of Somerset Bridge Cricket Club.
The BCB said, “During the game between Somerset Bridge and Warwick Workmen’s Club on Sunday 29 June, the umpires noted that Donnie was very cooperative with players from both teams and the umpires. Donnie is always eager to assist players and offers encouraging remarks demonstrating a high level of professionalism at every game.
“Donnie exerts a calming influence on the players around him displaying chivalry that cricket and the Chivas brand represent.”
