The City’s Evolution Fashion Festival got underway on Monday [July 7] with the Hair & Beauty Show held at City Hall, with a host of local salons showcasing the latest hair and beauty fashions.

The crowds in attendance were treated to styles from Allure, Elite Salon, Impressions, Luxe Salon, Nadz Beauty Salon, Strands and TK Hair, while models for the night included Aisling O’Connell, Jaedah Trott, Madelyn Moore, Ajalon Wilson, Jahshuntae Darrell, Marquedelle Rodriquez, Aliyah Philpott, Jatee Goodchild, Patrice Phillips, Alize Bailey, Jericho Tucker, Ronnelle James, Anna Harrington, Julian Carpenter, Samira Lewis, Antanisha Davis, Kaelah Ming, Sarah Jane Romeo, Aoife Rynne, Kaisha Wilson, Sean Smith, Asha Bacarie, Kalin Williams, Shabrique Henderson, Ashley Cruz and Karen Marino.

The model list also included Shadaente Tucker, Brandon Morris, Kathryn O’Connor, Shannon Bothelo, Camryn Swan, Kayla Simons, Shantell Morgan, Cassandra Roberts, Kayla Williams, Shavoy Mullings, Catrina Fubler, Keizhari Knight, Steven Rance, Cerise Woodley, Kenszo Iris, Tanee Esdaille, Chinyere Nwasike, Khadijah Shakir, Tyler Cook-Aitken, Danielle Smith, Larussy Romaro, Tyra-Michael Simmons, Eston Rawlins, Latroya Darrell, Welma Steeda, Haley Powell, Leslie Campbell, Zhane Virgil-Darrell, India Muhammad, Lynnique Castle, Zindzi Swan, Indigo Palacio and Madeleine Brash.

The City’s fashion week continues this evening [July 10] with the Local Designer Show featuring eight local designers, and on Saturday night the week culminates with the Evolution Fashion Show, which will feature 14 Hamilton retailers, 4 salons, 4 makeup brands and over 150 models on a 100 foot runway.
