Golf: Augustus & Smith Compete In Maine Open
Daniel Augustus and Camiko Smith both took part in the 2014 Charlie’s Maine Open when it returned to the Augusta Country Club for the third time in the past 50 years.
Augusta Country Club was one of the original eight clubs that formed the Maine State Golf Association in October of 1917.
The scheduled two day event was completely rained out on Day One, and the pair battled the rest of the field for the 18 hole shoot-out.
Both Augustus and Smith finished T49 with rounds of 1-over par 71’s.
Smith’s round consisted of 5 Birdies, 8 Pars, 4 Bogey’s and 1 Double Bogey, while Augustus registered 1 Eagle, 2 Birdies, 10 Pars and 5 Bogeys.
