Man Pleads Not Guilty To Three Drug Charges
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Aug 6], a 32-year-old man pleaded not guilty to possessing illegal substances, as well as possessing tools intended for drug-related usage.
Devonshire resident Michael Doucet pleaded not guilty to possessing diamorphine and cannabis, as well as a pair of scissors and a scale intended for use with the drugs, on November 9, 2013.
Senior Magistrate Archie Warner adjourned the matter to August 19 and granted Mr. Doucet bail of $10,000 with one Surety.
Mr. Doucet appeared this morning after not being present in court yesterday when his name was called, leading the Magistrate to issue a bench warrant for his arrest.
