Michael Grundmeyer To Join Endurance
Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. announced that Michael Grundmeyer has joined Endurance Global Weather [EGW] in the newly-formed role of Director of Origination for the Americas. EGW writes tailored weather-driven risk management products for corporations and municipalities that protect against variations in weather conditions and weather-driven commodity prices.
Mr. Grundmeyer joins Endurance from 3TIER Inc., a technology and data analytics firm serving the renewable energy industry, where he worked since 2008 as Managing Director responsible for developing financial risk management tools for energy trading companies as well as wind and solar project developers and financiers. He also held prior business and product development roles with Merrill Lynch Global Markets and Koch Energy Trading.
Martin Malinow, President of EGW, commented, “Michael brings a broad range of experience and relationships which he’s developed over his two decades working in traditional and renewable energy, project finance and weather risk management.
