Rupert Cousins Joins Endurance Insurance
Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, announced that Rupert Cousins has joined Endurance’s International Property Insurance team.
Mr. Cousins, who has more than 25 years experience as a property underwriter in the London market including Lloyd’s, and Charlotte Boustead, Assistant Vice President, International Property Insurance who joined Endurance this week, are both located in Endurance’s London office.
Richard Housley, Executive Vice President and Global Property Insurance Leader indicated, “With the addition of Rupert and Charlotte to our International Property team, we continue to build Endurance’s capabilities to service property accounts globally, through multiple distribution channels.
“I look forward to working with them to leverage their long-standing relationships and expertise and quickly establish Endurance’s presence in the London property market.”
Mr. Cousins joins Endurance from Markel Insurance where, as Senior Underwriter in their Property Open Market unit, he built and managed a portfolio of Global Fortune 1000 and risk managed business. Prior to that, Mr. Cousins was with AXIS Specialty Europe Ltd.’s Global Property Insurance unit for ten years, most recently in the role of Executive Vice President.
