Photos & Video: Youth Library Haunted House

Children wearing all styles of Halloween costumes stood patiently in line when the Ministry of Community, Culture and Sports hosted their Haunted Youth Library on Friday [Oct 24] at 5.30pm.

Minister of Community, Culture and Sports, R. Wayne Scott donned a wig when he joined a group of youth manning the haunted house taking part in thrilling the youngsters as they passed through.

Small groups of visitors were let in and read a story outlining their upcoming journey before they slowly traversed the walkway filled with different displays and characters along the way, screaming or jumping in fright as they went.

A spokesperson previously said, “With the school closures and everyone’s minds on the storms… The staff has doubled their efforts to make sure the children are still able to enjoy this fun event.”
