Halloween: Police Thank Public For Cooperation
Negative behaviour on Halloween continues to steadily decrease each year, the Police said today, and extended their thanks to the public for their cooperation during the Halloween weekend.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their cooperation during the Halloween weekend. While there were a few reported incidents involving the throwing of objects, mostly eggs, there were no reported injuries and minimal damage caused.
“Negative behavior on Halloween continues to steadily decrease each year and the community as well as our community partners are to be commended for working with the police to create a positive, proactive atmosphere with a zero tolerance approach regarding anti-social behavior.
“We would especially like to highlight the youth that made a choice not to engage in anti-social behavior while participating in Halloween. We applaud their positive response, along with the increased vigilance by residents in their respective neighborhoods.
We in return thank the Bermuda Police Force(not service) for doing their part in keeping our streets and communities safe, also I take the opportunity to thank the good old faithfuls, who constantly pray on our behalf both here and abroad.
Oh please!
Anyone ‘avocadoed’?
Despite that being the rumour in the run-up to Halloween I have heard of nothing related ,yet .
(Still crying over the loss of what was probably the most outstanding pear crop in decades due to the extraordinary winter we had ,then the two back to back storms that took them all down before peak maturity)
