42 Year Old Man Charged With Sexual Assault
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Dec 2], a 42 year old man was charged with sexually assaulting a woman.
The defendant had the indictable charge of sexually assaulting a woman on 29th November 2014 read out to him and was then granted bail of $5,000, required to provide a surety, and ordered to have no contact with the complainant.
Because the charge was deemed indictable, the case can only be tried in the Supreme Court and he was not required to plead. Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo ordered him to return on 16 December for Mention.
