Dage Minors Wins 800M, Sets School Record
Bermuda’s Dage Minors had a strong showing at the Elm City Challenge hosted by Southern Connecticut State University, winning the 800m, meeting the NEICAAA Championships qualifying time, posting the school record and meeting the NCAA Championships Provisional Qualifying Standard.
Minors placed first in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.30, also competed in the 3000m where he finished 6th with a time of 9:13.39, and was part of the Franklin Pierce Men’s Distance Medley Relay team which crossed the line first in a time of 10:16.83.
Minors and his Franklin Pierce Men’s Track & Field team placed second out of four teams competing.
