PLP C#15 Christmas Hamper Drive Underway
The Progressive Labour Party’s Constituency 15/Pembroke East Branch announced that their 2nd Annual Hamper Drive to assist needy families and seniors is under way.
A spokesperson said, “To assist with our charitable efforts, we will gladly accept donations of items to be placed in Christmas hampers this Saturday December 20, 2014 starting at 10am at Grace Methodist Church, North Shore, Pembroke during MP Walter Roban’s regular constituency Clinic.
“We will gladly accept the following donated items:
- Nonperishable canned goods
- Rice
- Beans
- Cereal
- Toiletries
- Detergent
- Food vouchers
- Cash donations are also accepted and will be put towards purchasing hamper items.

C’mon Sky Pilot. Where is the Xmas spirit?
PLP have done a lot of damage in this country but gotta give them some credit when they do something good – well done.
We spent all your your money, now give us your food, so we can give it to someone else.
Shame they had to mention PLP…why not collect and give to one of the charities that helps those in need and ensures it gets there?
What do you expect them to do, not name who’s responsible for collecting the donations?
It’s one thing to be anti-PLP, but for something like this, come on.
