Basketball League Resumes With Double Header
The Bermuda Island Basketball League season resumed following the Christmas Break with a double header inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
A total of 180 points were scored between the four teams.
The Rim Rockers picked up the first win in the League for 2015 with a 53 – 48 win over the Hoop Stars. Dave Middleton scored 14 points to lead the Rim Rockers to victory, while Billy Dunn scored 12 points for the Hoop Stars.
The second game of the night saw the Twisters defeat the winless Court Kings 55 – 24. Kevin Stephens scored 26 points for the Twisters and Christian Fiddick scored 8 points for the Court Kings.
