PHC To Host Premier Games At Home Field
Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC] will be hosting Premier Division football games at their home field for the first time since 1998.
“The reopening of PHC Stadium is a major success and the entire public should be proud of this accomplishment,” the Club said.
“The progress that has been made is due to the invaluable support of the corporate sector, government, and the wider community. The PHC Executive want to send a huge ‘thank you’ to all involved as PHC strives to uplift our island through sports, scholarship, and service.”
A spokesperson said, “The PHC Executive envision that this success will be the beginning of even greater positive news for the club and community.
“The reopening of PHC Stadium is by no means the finished product, PHC is still working towards a clubhouse and other field amenities in order to service our various youth programs and to build a solid financial platform. The reopening of PHC Stadium is a small but positive step in achieving our longer term objectives.
“In regards to the short term, PHC will have a ‘soft’ opening this coming Sunday as PHC take on NVCC. This game will pit two of Bermuda’s most successful football clubs against each other. It will truly be an entertaining affair and the public is encouraged to attend.
“The PHC Executive will have an official grand opening of PHC Stadium at the beginning of the 2015/16 football season.”
“As this is an exciting and historical time for PHC, we encourage the public to get involved with the club. If you would like to get involved or if you simply have any questions or comments, email to PHCZebrasBDA@gmail.com.”
Best wishes PHC. Keep working to provide the community and the youth with avenues for sport and development.
