Bermuda Futsal Athletes In North Carolina

Four CP Athletic Development Academy members recently participated in a US National level Futsal ID event in North Carolina, with the contingent including Noah Autmezguine, Daniel Cook, Michael Costello, and Leilani Nesbeth, who all had the opportunity to be instructed by the US National level coaching team.

The athletes received direction in game scenarios and drills and participated in a Futsal showcase during the event, which is designed to identify and develop elite players in the most challenging and competitive environment possible.

The hectic schedule of events also saw Cheyra Bell, Director of Female Development for CP Athletic Development Academy [CPAD] successfully complete the National Level 3 coaching course under FIFA Futsal Instructor and USA Men’s National Team Head Coach, Keith Tozer.

Founder and President of CP Athletic Development Academy Peter Rickards assisted the athletes with the pre-qualification process for attending the ID event, and said, “We recognize that our members all have different talent levels and aspirations.”

“By finding opportunities that fit their development we ensure that each member continues to build their athletic resume.

“Ultimately our goal is to guide our members on to higher education, in the process creating direct links for them to be considered for scholarship funding.”
