Lambe & Mansfield Town Tie With Northampton
Reggie Lambe and his Mansfield Town team were denied a victory against Northampton Town, who scored an injury-time equaliser in Saturday’s [Feb 14] Sky Bet League Two match at One Call Stadium.
The Bermudian footballer was picked for the starting eleven and played 86 minutes before being substituted by Adam Murray. Mansfield Town were ahead 1- 0 at the time following Vadaine Oliver’s goal in the 48th minute after a long free-kick into his area.
After probing for most of the second half, Northampton earned a life-line when they won a late penalty two minutes into injury time and netted the equalizer.
