Lambe’s Injury Assessment “Not Looking Good”

February 19, 2015

After Reggie Lambe was injured in a match between his Mansfield Town team and Luton Town – a match in which his replacement, Rakish Bingham, scored the lone goal – club boss Adam Murray said that the Bermudian footballer’s status was “not looking good.”

A report in the Nottingham Post said, “Victory pushed Mansfield up to 18th in the League Two table, five points above the relegation zone.”

Highlight’s from Mansfield Town’s match against Luton Town:

“It came courtesy of a goal from Rakish Bingham, who came on as a substitute early in the first half in place of the injured Reggie Lambe.”

“Reggie has got injured, realistically, from fatigue from Saturday,” said Mr. Murray. “In an ideal world we would have freshened it up on Tuesday but we had to go with what we had, and we’ve paid the price for that one.”

“It’s not looking good from the initial assessment but we’ll see how he is.”
