Telephone Pole Recovered From The Water

On Tuesday [Feb 24] a telephone pole was recovered from the water, with the Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre saying, “BMOC receives two separate calls from members of the public reporting a large piece of drift wood, possibly a telephone pole, drifting approximately 100 yards off the North Shore in the vicinity of The Berkeley Institute.

“BMOC contacts Aids to Navigation in Dockyard. The ATON Vessel Dragon is dispatched to the scene, and recovers a telephone pole from the water.”
