27 Year Old Woman Admits Slapping Her Mother
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Feb 6], 27-year-old Shaunte Seaman was charged with assault after admitting to slapping her mother after she had entered her mother’s Smith’s Parish residence on January 15, 2015 and had exchanged words with her.
Ms. Seaman told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that she was pregnant and had been defending herself and protecting her baby.
The Magistrate ordered a Social Inquiry Report and set sentencing for March, granting Ms. Seaman $2,000 bail.
