Ball Hockey League: North Stars, Nordiques Win
The Bermuda Ball Hockey League Season continued at the PCC Hockey Rink with a Double Header that produced 15 goals.
Minnesota North Stars 4 California Golden Seals 2
The Minnesota North Stars took the lead in the first Period when Cory Caouette scored, David Gazzard equalized for the California Golden Seals, but the Minnesota North Stars would go back in front with a goal off the stick of Adam Mattatall.
The Minnesota North Stars would go ahead 3 – 1 in the second Period when Mattatall scored his second goal of the game.
The third and final Period produced two goals, the Minnesota North Stars went up 4 – 1 when Joel Neal scored, but the California Golden Seals would pull a goal back when Adam Chevis scored, but that was all the scoring in the game with the Minnesota North Stars defeated the California Golden Seals 4 – 2.
Toronto Arenas 4 Quebec Nordiques 5
In the second match all nine goals that saw the Quebec Nordiques defeat the Toronto Arenas 5 – 4 were scored in the first two Periods.
At the end of the first the Toronto Arenas held a 3 – 2 lead with 2 goals from, Warren Miller and a single goal from Tom White. The Quebec Nordiques got goals from Robert Rego and Bill Calko.
In the second Period the Quebec Nordiques got two goals from Jf Talbot and limited the Toronto Arenas to one goal off the stick of Cam Poland.
