CedarBridge Academy held its annual Tech week recently, with students and teachers given the opportunity to submit entries into six different categories to win a major technology associated prize.

The categories were:

a. Essay – “Evolution of Technology
b. Original Individual Videos
c. Music Jingles/Commercials
d. Multimedia school projects
e. Selfie Competition – “Most Influential”
f. Teacher Video “Teaching with Technology.

Each day started with a daily question on technology trivia which involved students having to scan a bar code, decipher the question with the first to email the correct answer winning a prize.

Tuesday was Skype day with students having the opportunity to Skype a teacher and ask questions, Wednesday was Edmodo day where students and teachers had to complete an online quiz and send each other notes of appreciation, and on Thursday an Hour of Code workshop was offered for students and teachers.

Friday’s vendors included CellOne, along with ViewPoint Media [Burt Fraser], Direct.bm, Bermuda’s very own Mobile, and Mr. Fotogenik (Shawn Simmons) a former student of CBA participated in a Tech Market where students were able to see and purchase some of the latest technology available.
