Centre: New Volunteer, Engagement Coordinator
The Centre on Philanthropy announced the appointment of Ms. Jenice Germain [pictured] as the new Volunteer and Engagement Coordinator, effective April 1, 2015.
Elaine Butterfield, Executive Director added, “The Centre on Philanthropy is delighted to have someone with Jenice’s experience and skill as part of our team. Jenice will be responsible for the management of the overall development and maintenance of our Volunteer programme.
“In this role she will facilitate, promote & recognize volunteer opportunities and activities across Bermuda’s Third Sector. Jenice brings previous volunteer management experience, programme supervision and coordination, administration skills and more to her new position.”
“We look forward to continuing to serve our community and to connecting volunteers and non-profits which have resulted in a total donation of volunteer hours in 2014, of $171,019.20.”
Ms Germain looks forward to assisting Bermuda’s non-profits and volunteers find success together and said, “I am so pleased to be a part of The Centre on Philanthropy team and enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to promote and develop volunteerism within Bermuda’s Charitable Sector.
