Football: Mexico U23 Team Defeat Bermuda 3-0
[Updated] The Bermuda football team is currently in the Centro Alto Rendimiento as they prepare for today’s [May 22] match against the Mexico U23 team, with conditions expected to be challenging as it has been raining through the night.
Coach Andrew Bascome has set out his charges for the match, and has said that he will use this opportunity to test the full squad. All of the Mexico U23 players are professionals, and they will be taking this match seriously as they prepare for next year’s Olympics.
Bermuda’s starting lineup includes Dale Eve, Tyrell Burgess, Roger Lee, Jaylon Bather, Jalen Harvey, Tre Ming, Keishen Bean, Zeiko Lewis, Lejuan Simmons, Damon Ming, and Angelo Simmons.
Reserves will include Freddie Hall, Antwan Russell, Cecoy Robinson, Shakir Smith, Mauriq Hill, Jahnai Raynor, Rakeem DeShields, Casey Castle, and Drewondae Bascome.
