I though there was a hiring freeze in the civil service. Who is being let go to make room for this new position? Can’t someone be transferred from another area within Government?
Please, do read the advertisement: “The new ICO is a small, independent, non-governmental office that promotes and oversees use of the PATI Act. Our Office Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the ICO’s administrative and financial functions and organization, including etc.”
What I must comment on is the qualifications required of the individual being sort for this position…I also want to see a fellow Bermudian hired and not another person from elsewhere doing a job that, “one of we’lot can do”
