Hans-Peter Gerhardt Appointed To TMR Board
Tokio Millennium Re [TMR] announced that Hans-Peter Gerhardt has been appointed to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
“We are delighted to have Peter join TMR’s Board. As we continue to enhance our business, we look forward to the knowledge and insight that Peter will bring from his more than 30 years of reinsurance experience,” said Ian Brimecome, Chairman of the Board for TMR.
Mr. Gerhardt was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Paris Re, which was later acquired by PartnerRe. Prior to that, Mr. Gerhardt was Chief Executive Officer of AXA Re and also served as Chairman of AXA Liabilities Managers.
Before joining AXA, Mr. Gerhardt worked at Cologne Re [which later merged into General Cologne Re] where he held various underwriting and management positions. Mr. Gerhardt began his reinsurance career at Hannover Re.
