The BIG issue in healthcare here, IMHO, is that Seniors lose their dental insurance at age 65… WHEN THEY MOST NEED IT! That is unconscionable! Dentalcare is part of healthcare. But I for one cannot afford to pay $335 for a ten minute filling. And my teeth need a lot of work. I tried to see a Govt dentist, but they were not taking on new patients. That’s because there are a lot of Seniors seeking affordable dentalcare, and a shortage of Govt dentists. Unbelievable that no one in Govt seems to care….
I have spoken to several of my doctors about medical marijuana for pain control.the answer I get across the board is that medical marijuana is legal but none of them know how to prescribe it or how to get it.so is it being legalized just more bs to trick the public into thinking that it is available.one of my doctors said that if it was available they would prescribe it to older people like myself but not to young people.at the moment I am on oxycodone which is a synthetic drug and is highly addictive.marijuana was used by the Chinese in1286bc for pain.is the reason we can’t get it because the big pharmaceutal companies can not make money off of it? I am fed up with not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone.
