Photos: Pair Of Super-Yachts Visit St. George’s
Two super-yachts recently graced the waters of St. George’s, with residents and visitors treated to the sight of both the D’Natalin IV and the Spirit of the C’s.
The 164-foot D’Natalin IV is a custom-built vessel, owned by businessman Dennis M. Jones, while the 209.97-foot Spirit of the C’s is a charter vessel built in 2003 and refitted in 2010.
Mr. Jones paid a cool $34 million for the D’Natalin IV, representing a small fraction of his multi-billion dollar fortune; according to a story in the New York Times, Mr. Jones acquired that wealth when he sold Jones Pharma, a niche drug company, to King Pharmaceuticals for $3.4 billion in 2000.
According to website YachtCharterFleet.com, “Spirit of the C’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins.”
“She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
“Spirit of the C’s impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for socialising and entertaining with family and friends.”
Keep focused…more to come!
