Court: Man Pleads Guilty To Slashing Tyre
Appearing in Magistrates Court yesterday [Aug 13], Eduardo Penacho plead guilty to unlawfully damaging a car tyre that was the property of someone who was, at the time, was working as a security officer.
The Crown Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that there had been a late night confrontation between Mr. Talbot in his capacity as a Security Officer at local establishment. Following that incident, Mr. Penacho slashed the tyre of Mr. Talbot’s car.
Speaking for himself, Mr. Penacho told the Magistrate that he had an altercation with Mr. Talbot, and Mr. Penacho admitted that after the club incident, he cut the car’s tyre.
Magistrate Tokunbo ordered a social inquiry report, set sentencing for October, and granted Mr. Penacho $3,000 bail.
