Cruise Ship Worker Remanded Into Custody
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Sept 21], a 30-year-old foreign national who works on a cruise ship was remanded in custody after being charged with conspiring to import cannabis.
Lindel Primus pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiring with others between a date unknown and 16th September 2015 to import cannabis; and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The Crown Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that the amount had an alleged street value of around $94,000.
Primus was remanded into custody, and given a mention date of 1st October.
