Validus Appoints Head of Treaty Reinsurance
Bermuda-based Validus Re, the reinsurance division of Validus Holdings, Ltd. announced the appointment of Jorge Beltran [pictured] as Executive Vice President, Head of Treaty of Validus Reaseguros, Inc.
In this new role, Mr. Beltran will be responsible for the implementation and execution of Validus Re’s treaty strategy in Latin America.

Mr. Beltran has been with Validus Reaseguros in Miami since 2007 and has over 23 years of underwriting experience.
Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions at various leading companies including Liberty Mutual, SCOR, Swiss Re and Transatlantic.
