Basketball: Thunder Cats & Flyboys United Win
The Cellone Island Basketball League season continued inside the Cedarbridge Academy gymnasium with a double header with 180 points scored.
The Thunder Cats defeated the Skyforce 47-36 in their second meeting of the season. Rye Ahronson with scored a game high 14 points for the Thundercats, while Skyforce got 9 points from Ranshon .
The second game of the night saw the Flyboys United defeat the lowly Hoopstars 62 -35 which move them to 6-2 on the season and the Hoopstars remain winless with a record of 0-8. Chae Powell scored 20 points for the Flyboys, while Yontz Sutton scored 12 points for the Hoopstars.
