Three Expertise Seminars Open For Enrollment
Expertise, a Bermuda developer of in-house training, is offering enrollment opportunities in a number of upcoming seminars, taking place throughout early December.
The first seminar, titled ‘Taking a Coach Approach to Leading,’ will help attendees to “integrate coaching into the way you lead to create a culture of motivation and performance.”
The event poster says, “This highly participative workshop will enhance your leadership skills by developing coaching techniques including questioning, listening, assessingcommitment and creating momentum. You will learn when to coach and when to manage as well as how to incorporate coaching conversations into your day-to-day approach to leadership.
“The result is an enhanced ability to inspire increased employee engagement, motivation, job satisfaction and performance.”
‘Taking a Coach Approach to Leading’ will be held on December 4 from 9.00am through 4.00pm, at a cost of $475, including a continental breakfast and lunch.
The second seminar, titled ‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall,’ will teach attendees “interpersonal skills for improved workplace effectiveness.”
“Each of us has a different behavioural style that affects the way we interact, communicate and work together. This highly interactive seminar will help you adapt the way you communicate to perform your job more effectively and avoid interpersonal conflict; improve the quality of your relationships with colleagues and customers/clients; and capitalize on your natural strengths to maximize job satisfaction. Participants will receive a personalized behavioral assessment.”
‘Mirror, Mirror on the Wall’ will be held on December 7 from 9.00am through 4.30pm, at a cost of $475, including a continental breakfast and lunch.
The third seminar, ‘Diversity in the Workplace,’ will teach attendees “how to address diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”
“Engage in insightful discussion and receive helpful tips to help you enhance diversity and inclusion in your workplace. Encompassing race, gender, age, sexual orientation and arguably more, diversity not only involves how people perceive themselves, but also how they perceive others.
“Addressed are the benefits of diversity as well as effective tools to encourage inclusion. You will discover how leadership is the foundation of a diverse and inclusive company culture.”
‘Diversity in the Workplace’ will be held on December 8 from 12.00pm through 1.30pm, at a cost of $185.
