Photos: Nikki Bascome vs Pilo Reyes Boxing

Bermudian boxer Nikki Bascome gave a large and enthusiastic home crowd something to cheer for as he took on Pilo Reyes from Chihuahua, Mexico at the Fairmont Southampton on Saturday, November 7, unleashing a flurry of blows in order to end the match with a TKO in just over two and a half minutes.

Bascome was all over the Mexican fighter from the opening bell, knocking him to the mat early as the crowd cheered in support of the Bermudian fighter. After Reyes got up looking unsteady on his feet, referee Oscar Lightbourne put a stop to the fight, with the match ending only 2 minutes 33 seconds into the first round, with Bascome recording the win via technical knockout, taking his professional record to 4-0.

In the other bouts of the night, Keanu Wilson defeated Courtney Dublin, Jaylen Roberts defeated Raul Vlad, Zain Philpott defeated Shomari Warner, Tyler Christopher defeated Kaya Simmons, Andre Lambe defeated Shane Melo from Canada, Robert Somner defeated Di’Andre Burgess, Shannon Ford defeated Stefan Dill, Corey Boyce defeated Canada’s Daniel Avram, and there was also an exhibition match between Andrew Watson and Deondre Morris.
