Cemetery Road Will Be Closed On January 4th

BELCO said they wish to “advise motorists and pedestrians that Cemetery Road will be closed from 7am – 5pm on Monday, January 4th for ongoing work to its Fire Pump Site. Intermittent restriction to one-lane travel is anticipated through the remainder of that week to ensure the safety of motorists and workers.”

“Neighbouring businesses, including Animal & Garden House, Gorhams and TreeCon are open for business as usual and can be accessed from the western entrance of Cemetery Road. Businesses at the east end of Cemetery Road remain accessible from St. John’s Road,” a spokesperson said.

“BELCO apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause and thanks neighbours and the public for their cooperation as this essential work is carried out. We will continue to provide updates via our Facebook and Twitter feeds as the work progresses. ”
