Fire Service Respond To West End “Explosion”
At approximately 4.30pm today [Dec 9], the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of an explosion at Curtis Lane in Sandy’s.
“Sergeant Russann Francis, spokesperson for the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service reports, “On arrival, the team found there was no sign of smoke or fire in the residence; however, there was obvious damage to windows, a door and interior furniture. We responded to the incident with 1 vehicle and 4 firefighters.
“There were no injuries at this incident.
“At present the cause of the explosion is under investigation.”
