Validus Appoints Rob Halsey As VP Atlanta
Validus Holdings, Ltd. announced the appointment of Rob Halsey as Vice President, Atlanta Property Manager. In this new position, he will be responsible for building and maintaining the Validus Underwriters Excess & Surplus property business in the Southeast United States and write on behalf of Western World.
“Rob has the experience, broker relationships and underwriting philosophy that will help us meet our growth plans for 2016 and beyond,” said Bill Steinberg, Head of Property Brokerage for Validus Underwriters. “His expertise will allow us to build and maintain our client base while expanding our presence in the region. We are thrilled to welcome him to our team.”
Mr Halsey brings to Validus more than fifteen years of experience in Property wholesale brokerage and Excess & Surplus underwriting in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Validus, he served as a senior underwriter of the Excess & Surplus Commercial Property Business at Admiral Insurance.

Mr Halsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas, Austin.
