The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club [BMRC] will be launching its 2016 Winter Riding Clinic on February 6, with registration now open for the program.

A spokesperson said, “The winter clinic will be an evolution over our previous Fall 2015 clinic and will now offer two specific 12 week courses, including ‘Riding 101 – Learn How to Ride,’ focusing on teaching the attendees how to ride a motorcycle. This course is geared towards first time riders from ages 4 years old and up.

“In ‘Intermediate Riding – Race Fundamentals,’ attendees will be taught fundamentals of motorcycle riding for the purpose of competing on the race circuit. The fundamentals will range from basic mechanical preparation, body positioning, target fixation, throttle control, and more.”
