Basketball League: Flyboys & Twisters Win
The Cellone Island Basketball regular league season continued with a total of 220 points scored on the night.
The Flyboys defeated the Crossfire Ballers 54 – 45 to get their 15 win of the season, keeping the Crossfire Ballers in the #5 seed spot, the Flyboys were led by Kieron Burgess who had a game high 22 points, while Dean Jones scored 12 points for the Crossfire Ballers.
The second game saw the Twisters get win their 16th game of the season after defeating the Hoopstars 74 – 47, with the Hoopstars now holding a record of 3 & 15. Kevin Stephens scored 23 points for the Twisters, with Yontz Sutton scoring 20 points for the Hoopstars.
