PHC Community 1.25 Mile Run & Walk On Friday
Offering a “full day of family fun for all,” the Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC] will host its annual Community Fun Day on Good Friday, including its Community 1.25 Mile Run & Walk.
The day will begin at 9.00am with the Run & Walk, ranging from Lindo’s Warwick to PHC Field, with prizes to be awarded to the top three finishers in each respective category.
Register for the race at the Sports Seller in Washington Mall or online. Registration is $10 for Juniors [under 18] and $15 for Adults [$20 for adult late entries].
Paper entries [PDF here] must be returned by 4.30pm on Wednesday, March 23, with entry fee, to Sportseller; cheques can be made payable to Pembroke Hamilton Club. Online entry closes on Thursday, March 24 at 6.00pm.
Race numbers will be issued and late entries accepted from 7.30am and onward on Friday, March 25 at Lindos in Warwick. Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female runners/walkers in categories including:
- Runners: Primary [P1- P6] / Middle [M1 – M3] / Senior [S1-S4] / Open [20-39] / Masters [over 40]
- Walkers: Open [20-39] / Masters [over 40]
- Route: Starting at Lindo’s Market Ltd. in Warwick travelling west along Middle Road to PHC Field.
The theme of this year’s Community Fun Day is ‘Love My Bermuda,’ with PHC encouraging the island to take pride in our unique Good Friday culture and tradition. When posting pictures on social media, PHC is asking attendees to use the hashtags #LoveMyBermuda and #WeArePHC.
