Troika Auditions For “The Color Purple” Musical
Troika Bermuda is getting set to hold casting auditions for ‘The Color Purple, The Musical about Love,’ to be held at the CedarBridge Academy Dance Studio.
A dance audition will be held at 12.00pm on Saturday, April 2, with an open call at 2.30pm; call backs will be held on Sunday, April 3. All auditioners must attend with a headshot and creative resume.
The event poster says, “Dancers will be taught a dance combination during the Dance Call. Please come in comfortable clothing and prepared to move.
“Prepare two contrasting songs; an up-tempo and a ballad. You must come to the audition with your sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Actors will be asked to read a short side at the audition.
“If you have a legitimate reason for not being able to attend the open call auditions, you can submit a video audition. The deadline for the video submission is Friday, April 1, 2016.”
