Court: Student Charged With Possessing Knife

Appearing in Magistrates Court today [April 11] dressed in his school uniform, a teenager pleaded not guilty to a charge that on 9th April, on Trimingham Hill Road, without lawful excuse or reason, he possessed a black handled knife with an eight inch cutting edge.

Asked by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo if he had anyone in Court with him, the teenager replied by turning and pointing to his father.

The Magistrate set trial for 27th June and granted bail at $2,000 with one surety.
