Trey Simons Named MVP In South Carolina
Following a stand out performance in which he won two events, Bermuda’s Trey Simons has been named the Men’s Track MVP for the the 2016 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference [SIAC] Track & Field Championship held in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Simons — who competes for Morehouse College — finished with 46 points after winning the 800-meter run in a time of 1:56.38, winning the 1500-meter run in a time of 4:01.99 and racking up second place finishes in the 5000-meters and 10000-meter races.
