SoftBank Team Japan put their man overboard skills into action recently after an unplanned swim in the Great Sound, capturing the events on video and sharing the results online, noting that “all crew are safe and accounted for.”
SoftBank Team Japan is the Japanese challenger for the 35th America’s Cup. Led by Skipper Dean Barker, SoftBank Team Japan is made up of expert sailors, boat builders, and support crew from around the world. The team base is located in Dockyard and they can be seen training regularly on the Great Sound.
