Agape House Temporarily Moved To Curtis Ward
The Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] said would like to remind the public that Agape House has been temporarily relocated to Curtis Ward which is on the 3rd floor in the General Wing at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“The move was necessary to allow renovations to the Agape House building. Workmen on the site report a number of people continue to come to the building looking for loved ones,” BHB said.
“BHB also reports that the Agape House upgrade works are progressing well. The contractor is in the second week of the 12-week construction schedule.”
“We anticipate staff and residents will relocate to Agape House in mid-July,” said BHB Director of Facilities Management and Engineering Services, Marshall Minors.

Why is the contractor only in his second week of work when they moved everyone out of Agape House months ago!. Why didn’t he start when the place became vacant in January I think it was?
Some bad planning there.
Waste of money fixing up that old building. Surely in $400 million they spent they could have found a bit to build a purpose built hospice?
also, who is the contractor because l would like to donate mine and a few of my employee’s Hrs maybe even some materials to help out with this?
