List of Bus Routes Cancelled This Evening
[Updated] The Department of Public Transportation has advised that a number of bus trips are cancelled this evening [June 21]. There have been a number of bus cancellations recently, with the Department of Public Transportation previously saying that it was due to “recent maintenance issues,” with over 30 buses out of service.
The list of cancellations is below:
Update 6.06pm: Subseqient to the initial list being sent, we received another list, this time detailing more cancellations than the first list – which had 19. The second list follows below.
Over 30 buses out of service for maintenance issues. Are mechanics not showing up for work, incompetent, or is a little night work in order? That’s a lot of buses.
It really bothers me that you would jump to this conclusion. If the parts are not available then the mechanics can’t fix the buses. The guys in the garage work damn hard in that hot garage and go above and beyond. … how do I KNOW this….my husband is one of them.
How pathetic is this… why are we having so many bus cancellations?
Nineteen buses that is a shame, but they have them for the ships.

watch out for Wednesday , while I’m waiting for a bus that may not show up, I will see at least 7 buses heading west with sightseeing on destination….!

Transportation is key to thousands of workers every day, and the public for the most part are doing well. Buses do break down, true enough, folks are more appreciative and understanding if something more is said than cancella tions to the general public, are there no funds, no parts or no overtime.
Can’t believe they got the list of cancellations wrong as well! The number 7 leaving dockyard at 6.20 was there and the diver waany aware of his route being on the list. Is this some kind of joke or do the people in charge of this have zero clue as to what’s happening?
Can someone please look into this. To me it stinks of someone intentionally causing disruption and damaging the reputation of our country.

Can someone in the know tell the tax paying public what the hell is really going on. These cancellations are totally unacceptable!!
Overpaid inept mechanics. All the more reason to either privatise the bus service 100% or buy buses through a local dealer who will have the responsibility to maintain the buses.
Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hino, any number of Asian builders make stock Rt hand drive short city buses suitable for Bermuda use.
