Southampton Council Offering Two Scholarships
The Southampton Parish Council announced that it will offer two scholarships for the academic year 2016.
“Scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants, who are pursuing an undergraduate [sophomore year and above] or graduate degree,” a spokesperson said.
“Bermuda College applicants may also apply. The Awards are up to a maximum amount of $5,000 each.
“Applicants, who must be Bermudian and have resided in Southampton Parish for at least 5 years, should submit a completed application form by the deadline of Friday, June, 24th, 2016. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
“Application Forms are available at the Southampton Parish Post Office or available upon request by email at spc244@gmail.com.
“Preference will be given to applicants with strong academic credentials and who can demonstrate financial need.
“Please submit queries to the attention of the Scholarship Committee email address: spc244@gmail.com.”
