The 2016 Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey regular League season came to an end at the PCC Hockey Rink with another double header that produced 38 goals.
Houston Aeros 10 Indianapolis Racers 9
This game came down to the third and final period with the League Leaders Houston Aeros coming away with a 10 – 9 win over the Indianapolis Racers.
The Aeros got 4 goals from Chris Grantier, 2 goals each from Andrew Curnow and Ian Beaudoin and single strikes from David Provost and James Amaral, while Chris Merritt scored 4 times for the Indianapolis Racers, JM Tremblay added a hat-trick and Shane McKay scored twice.
Phoenix Roadrunners 10 New England Whalers 9
Another game that saw 19 goals and was decided by one saw the Phoenix Roadrunners defeat the New England Whalers 10 – 9.
Jacob Amlong led the way for the Phoenix Roadrunners with 4 goals, while Jeremy Estey added a hat-trick, Shannon goose scored twice and Bill Calko added the other. Matthew Benson scored four goals for the New England Whalers, while Adam Mattatall and Cameron Poland scored 2 each with Pete Brodsky scoring the other.
