Anticipated That Bermuda Host AG Conference
“It is anticipated that Bermuda will be the host country next year for this very significant meeting,” Attorney-General and Minister of Legal Affairs Trevor Moniz said following the Conference of Attorneys General from UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies which was held in the Turks & Caicos earlier this month.
Minister Moniz attended the conference on behalf of Bermuda and said, “Many fruitful discussions were had regarding a range of topics relating to the rule of law and administration of justice in the Territories. It is anticipated that Bermuda will be the host country next year for this very significant meeting.”
The conference was hosted by Ms Rhondalee Braithwaite-Knowles, the Attorney-General of Turks and Caicos. It was chaired by Mr. Robert Buckland QC MP, the UK Solicitor-General. You can read Mr Buckland’s full remarks about the conference here.
