BLTA To Host Grass Roots Tennis Programme

September 16, 2016

The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association [BLTA] will be hosting a Grass Roots Tennis Programme starting on September 17 and running until December 3.

The programme will be held every Saturday from 9.00am to 10.00 am at the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium, with no classes October 29 and November 12.

The programme is open to all primary school aged children, with kids asked to bring sneakers and programme t-shirt, a hat or visor, sunscreen, water, and racquet to each class; racquets can be provided for those who don’t have one.

Registration is $115 per 10 week term, with a 10% discount for those paying by term, with the cost including the “Grass Roots” BLTA T-shirt to be worn at each class; registration is $90 if the child already has the t-shirt, or pay $10 per class plus one payment of $25 for the t-shirt.

The BLTA Grass Roots Programme is run under the direction of National Tennis Director Ricky Mallory; for more information, email info@blta.bm or call 296-0834.

Good Luck, with football season around the corner, majority of kids will be playing that during that time frame. It’s more feasible to have this program later in the day.
